1 ½ cups pure maple
syrup
½ cup white vinegar
¼ cup horseradish
2 T. ancho chile powder
4-8 pork chops
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix syrup, vinegar, horseradish and
chili powder well. Sear the chops on both sides; then place in a baking dish.
Set aside half of the glaze. Baste the glaze over the chops and continue
basting while the chops finish cooking. Pour the reserved glaze over the chops
just before serving.
