Sorry that things have been missing.  I have a ton of excuses, but I am sure you have heard them all.  Here is what i have for breakfast most mornings!


1/2 c water
1/2 c vanilla soy milk
1/4 c dried fruit (i vary, today its dried blueberries)

cook on top of stove until mixture just comes to a boil, stirring constantly as to not burn milk. As soon as it starts to boil turn off heat and add:

1/2 c quick oats

Stir to mix and cover for 5 minutes or until mixture doesn't look soupy.  Pour into bowl and add 1/2 c real maple syrup.
